This work explores androgyny as a space between fixed gender definitions. The figure combines contrasting elements — subtle facial hair, long hair, a fitted skirt resembling a mermaid’s tail, high heels, and a bare chest — without committing to a singular identity. It reflects the idea that gender is not black or white, but fluid and personal. The piece challenges rigid norms and offers a visual representation of identity that exists in-between — ambiguous, soft, and self-defined.
